Flittering Bobbit made his first Pixie Powder using spores from bracket fungus. Although it was marginally effective against Pixies, his research into the coloration of Cornish Pixies led him to discover the fungi Lactarius Indigo. Bobbit showed that the darker blue of Cornish Pixie’s correlated to regions more suitable to the L. Indigo fungus.

Almost eradicated in the 17th century, Pixie’s have made a slight rebound in their numbers. Bobbit spent months of heavy observation and eventually was able to document the use and effects of L. Indigo on Pixie’s.

They use their small teeth to bite into the stalk of L. Indigo and enjoy the bluish milky liquid that the fungus excretes. The bluer Pixies turn out to have larger teeth and can better access the deeper tissues, and thus, the darker milk inside the fungus. The milk begins to turn green when exposed to the air resulting in a less blue Pixie. This also cleared up why older Pixie’s, who have lost their teeth, turn out to be a greener colour due to having to lick up the liquids leaking from a priop Pixie’s feeding.

Bobbit notes, “Cornish Pixie’s enter a highly mischievous and rambunctiousness state within minutes of drinking the blue milk, running around for hours, then entering a calm state of hibernation for several more hours. This also makes the best time to capture them.”

For your 3rd task, you must find the place, in Indian Land, where little “Human” pixie’s run and play. Look for the two large rectangular man-made “mushrooms” that offer our little “pixies” shade. In the mushroom cap’s four supports, there is a bolt piece missing. Here lies a small twig with your final code carved into it that will resurrect your prize! Like the other codes, add the three numbers to the address to access your final page.
